What can republicans do different than they did before?

If i'm not mistaken not one republican has made things better than they found it except Eisenhower. Reagan only helped businesses and the military so did the Bushes. Forget NIXON or Ford. What can they do thats going to make this country better. Everytime you turn around they are the ones not willing to compromise or is it just with this pres. for whatever reason. I can guess ut they'll deny. So what besides giving the rich more money and less laws do they have to offer.
